What is that gizmo?

The sfg picture at the top of the page, has a gizmo under the word 'do'.

Being the low tech gardener that I am, I don't have a clue what it is used for.

Anybody know?

I guess that's a tomato plant. What's the purpose of a tomato tray in a sfg?

The other ones I've seen were red and supposedly the red did some magic voodoo on them. No clue though, never used any.

Thanks for the links, I missed them. Now that I've looked at the links-I've decided I was correct from the start-gizmos What is that gizmo? Icon_exclaim

from what i understand the red color is suppose to help ripen the tomatoes faster, i have no proof mind you but allways wanted to try it myself.

From the link above which links to the trays in the SFG store.

Tomato watering tray increases tomato
harvests by 40% or more.

Protects all vine crops against droughts and brings earlier, tastier
harvests.

So I assume it holds water to slow water you tomatoes or maybe it holds the moisture in......just a guess.
