My garden has EXPLODED!!
Some stuff I just planted 3 days ago. I have beets starting to come up, cucumbers and spaghetti squash popping out. It's going crazy!
Garlic, Potato Onions, Carrots, Salad...
Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage (tiny)
Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Purple Beans, Green Beans, tiny Peppers
Tomatoes
And... A 2nd Gnome has shown up in my garden! This time in the Asparagus bed.

Ooh, what a great garden. It gives one hope that those of us further north will have the same experience soon.
I love the gnome. I have to dig out my garden statuary and find a few things to put in my veggie beds. I love the idea.

Wow, great looking gardens! Thanks for sharing Aub!
I've been thinking about inviting a gnome to stay in my garden. You know, to help keep on eye on things when I'm not around. Do you find they help, or are they as lazy as they often look?

It's beautiful!
As far as the gnomes go, you might be interested in this movie:
Gnomeo & Juliet
(It was cute)

I clicked on your link. There are some big name actors in that! Jason Statham!??!?!? That is hilarious! I am going to have to watch that with my grandkids if it is suitable.

Well, I don't know who Jason Stratham is , but it's a kids' movie, definitely suitable (altho suitability might be subject to interpretation). I loved it, as I do most animated kids' movies. (Warning: my standards are probably not very sophisticated.)

Thanks everyone! It still has a lot of growing to do but I'm happy with it. I loved Gnomeo & Juliette! I don't know who is putting the gnomes in my garden. At first I thought it was my sister, but now I think it might be my husband. Who knows!

Wow, it's looking great! So greeeeeen!
Say, what kind of composts did you use in the asparagus bed? I keep trying to grow a gnome like that, but I haven't succeeded yet.

Well, that settles it.
Your garden looks great, it's had 2 gnomes attending it, therefore the garden gnomes are an asset.
So, I'm going to welcome a gnome to my garden too!

Jason Statham is a British actor. He is to British tough guy movies ( bad language, violence, car chases, explosions) what Sean Connery is to James Bond movies. That is why I asked if it was suitable for kids. Having Jason Stathom as a voice in an animated children's movie is such a contradiction.
Okay back to the OP. Aub, I love the idea that someone is sneaking gnomes into your garden. That is very cool.

Re: My garden has EXPLODED!!
Amazing what a few days of warm sunshine will do for the gardens! It's cold again now, but I had the same experience with everything just popping out of the ground.Instead of taking a magnifying glass to the beds to see if there were seedlings, I can now see them from my kitchen window.I never tried growing kale and turnips before so I was surprised to see seedlings after only 3 days!
