Here is a shot of this morning's harvest. Clockwise from the carrots you see.. Red-core Chantenay carrots, Simpson Elite lettuce, Vivian Romaine lettuce, celery, spinach, Buttercrunch lettuce, Arugula, and in the center my snap peas.

Of course, my daughter helped me harvest. She wanted a picture for her room, so we took one. In her picture, you also see the amount of lettuce we harvested in the bowl next to her. That fed 5 of us a Chef's salad for lunch complete with more carrots, cheese, dressing, and ham cubes. Delectible delight it was!

Beautiful pic of your daughter and the harvest! Enough to make me salivate. I sure hope I have some pics like that to share in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Gosh, I have to say the lovely daughter caught my eye and then those ribs.
Someone isn't eating enough. Shall I ship you some dogfood?

Great harvest, by the way.

She's the jumpiest boxer I've ever seen. We feed her over the recommended daily amounts and are trying and trying to get her to put some weight on. She is still a pup, though, and just burns it right off. If you saw us play fetch....or saw someone come over to the house....you'd understand why she can't keep the weight on.

It's just something we live with, I guess. Our middle son is Autistic and he is really hyperactive at times. He is 9 and can eat 4 PB&J sandwiches, a couple bowls of cereal, and ask for popsicles and M&Ms in the same sitting. He eats me under the table some nights. And, you would think we don't feed him, either....lol.

My male dog was the same way for the first two years, he grew too fast and never eats despite the fact that the bowl is over flowing with food.

Backyardbirdgardener,

Your dog might be hyperthyroid. Please have him checked out by your vet.

Krazikandiland,

As to your dog who doesn't eat, that could be a sign of serious illness.

Guys, that's also a bad angle on the dog....she's looking to her right and her body is bent that direction, if you look close.

Boxers are also notoriously thin until they hit about 2 years old. I refuse to panic when I feed her right and have done my research when buying from a reputable breeder with bloodlines checking out with no historical genetic problems.

I am not one that runs to the vet every time she scratches her ears. I appreciate the sentiment, and know you are trying to help. But, I wouldn't go overboard on a dog I've never seen, except in a couple of photos. Photos, like internet postings, can be very misleading.

If you doubt me, I could show you hundreds of pictures of girls I claim to have dated.....lol.

I'm sorry if we have upset you. I know you know that we are just animal lovers who wanted to be sure the dog was A-OK healthwise. Knowing you are a loving dog parent is wonderful. I'm sure you know best.
I would want someone to worry about my dog under the same conditions in case I didn't bother having her checked by a vet, thinking the dog was fine.

Its nice to know dog and family are doing the best for each other.

I guess I got a little ruffled there, only because I do my diligence. I know not all people do. Like I said, I appreciate the concern...I do.

Anyway, I had a nice dinner....I feel better now. I didn't mean to sound snippy.
