And yet another "My first SFG" :-)
Is it okay to put links in this thread rather than uploading the pix themselves?
I think I posted this link once already on my intro thread, but here are my "prep" pix of my one little box:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/98018475@N00/sets/72157626439097647/
And this is the progress of my little box over the course of 2 weeks:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/98018475@N00/sets/72157626646925098/
I am sure I will be adding photos over the summer. And yes, I know, I know: I need to put in a support system for the peppers ASAP before I damage the roots, and I have put some cooler weather plants in quite late for my zone. But I'm excited to see all those babies grow, especially the beans!

Perfectly fine, but I've experienced fewer people will go the extra mile to click a link.
When using Flickr, just right click your pic. Choose meduim 640 or medium 500. Right click again and select "properties." Highlight the url ending with .jpeg. Copy it and paste it into your post on the forum. Make sure it's surrounded with the img and /img bracketed tags and you are good to go.

I don't usually click on links, either... but I'm glad I did this time! Great photos.

Beautiful!!! I am still jealous of your Japanese maple! Is that straw you have used for mulch around the box?
I click on links if they have pictures.

Re: And yet another "My first SFG" :-)
Gwynn, thank you, I love my little maple too; it is about 4 years old (in my yard); this is the first year it really looks like it's thriving. The first two years it was teensy and spindly and pathetic with hardly any leaves and I thought it wasn't going to make it. Then last year it started showing signs that maybe it was here to stay after all. This year it truly looks happy and like it will grow to take over all of my SFG space! :-)
The mulch is pinestraw, sold in bales and seen everywhere here in the South.
