Greetings from Branson
Greetings from Branson, MO. I'm just getting started with SFG. I'm starting with 2 - 4 X 4 beds. One will be exclusively strawberries, and the second vegetables - Kale, Swiss Chard, Tomatoes, Various Peppers, etc. I started growing last year in pots on my back deck with some success, but am looking forward to the beds. Much less time intensive then pots. Thanks in advance for the treasure trove of information already here and the advice moving forward.

Re: Greetings from Branson
You've found a great place for questions. Welcome aboard!!
Branson is such a lovely place. Do you live near/on the lake? I'd also be interested, when you find out, what your frost date is down there? I bet it's a week or two ahead of me.
Post some pictures as you get up and running. We love to brag about our success.
Also, stop into your regional forum. You can find some local information in there. You may be on the border of a couple of regions.
Hope to see you active and hanging around a lot. Nice to have you.

Brian,
Very glad to have you join us. This is a great group of people and someone will try to answer your questions.
Converting from containers to SFG beds is a great step to allow you bigger harvests with less work.
Please keep us posted on your progress and share pictures if you will.
Again, Welcome

Thanks for the warm welcomes!
Thanks everyone, for the warm welcomes. BackyardBirdGardner, I live about 1 mile from Lake Taneycomo. I'll check our last frost date and post it. And I'll also post updates and photos of my garden as I get it together. Thanks again
