Hi!
I'm new to the forum and to SFG. I just built my first beds (3 4x4's) and we're getting ready to plant. Hoping to learn from all of you...thanks!

Hi fndrbndr,
Glad you've decided to join us! Welcome to the forum and to sfgardening! I'm new to sfgardening, too - this is my first year. There are so many great folks here that are happy to help us "newbies" and answer our questions. Feel free to ask questions and check out the regional forum to find other gardeners in your area. They'll often be able to help you with questions about gardening in your particular climate.
Post pics when you can - everybody loves to see photos of others' gardens! I think you'll love your sfgs. I've been having such fun with mine! Take care & I'll see you around the forum!!

We are really glad you joined us. There are a few more gardeners in CO, so perhaps they will be able to give you more area specific help when you need it.
3 beds is a great start. Enough to have a great variety of veggies, but not so much that it seems overwhelming
(once the boxes are built and filled with Mel's Mix )
I hope you have had a chance to read ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING book. It provides so much information in an easy to read and understand format. I refer to mine all the time.
I think you will find this is a pretty great group of people who just want to grow good food.
Please keep us posted on your progress and yes, we pictures.
Again, Welcome fndrbndr

Re: Brand New
So very glad to have ya!
Do you have the All New SFG book? If not, you should definitely consider buying it. It is a fantastic resource for those who are just starting out with SFG. You'll find just about everything you need to know in that book.
If you have any more questions please feel free to ask them. We are always eager to help out fellow SFGers if we can. When you get your SFG up and running please post some pictures for us.
Please stop on when you have a chance. Regional forums are a great place to get region specific information, ask regional questions, and generally get to know folks from your area.
Take care and happy gardening.
