Wow! What a great site. I found it by mistake, but am oh so glad I did. I live in Sydney, Nova Scotia on beautiful Cape Breton Island. I actually started a lasagna garden in the fall, with 2, boxes each 4X4. I lined the bottom of the boxes with wet newspaper and layered organic material (leaves, compost, peat moss) and covered the whole thing with weighted down plastic for the winter. I can hardly wait to get started.

Welcome valerie, sounds like you have a head start already. It's been unusually warm in southern NB, how is it in Cape Breton?

Hi craftygirl,
Welcome to the forum. I'm new to this 396615

I generally don't like to pass on a question, but I'm potatoed out! For some reason we've been talking a lot about potatoes lately. May I suggest reading through this long thread to get some ideas. And then posting questions about the things that aren't clear.

Welcome aboard, SFG can't be beat!
