Hi from North West Georgia
Hey, just about to plant my first two squares - 4x4. One is ready and the other just needs some Mel's mix.
I'm from north west Georgia, just south of Chattanooga.

Hi from North West Georgia
Just wanted to say to the forum, Mark! I look forward to seeing your garden pics! Be prepared, though, 2 boxes are never enough - this sfgardening is definitely addictive. I've just planted my first 2 sfgs and am already antsy to get more! But it's good to "start small" like Mel recommends to see if sfgardening is for you. I'm definitely addicted and am looking forward to expanding to include at least 2 more boxes for a fall garden!
I think you'll love the forum - there are so many friendly, helpful people here who are willing to dish out the advice and the wisdom they've gained from their experiences with sfgardening. They're also hysterically funny at times, so it helps to have a good sense of humor and be willing to put up with some kidding around!

Mark I think you will find SFG and this forum to your liking. I have gained a lot of help here. I am guessing you have Mels book, what a smart man.

Re: Hi from North West Georgia
So glad to have you Mark!
I hope you decide to hang around with us for a bit. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. We love to help just as much as we love to see pictures! I'm looking forward to seeing your SFG!
Please stop on by the middle south regional forum (your region). The regional forums are great places to find region specific information, ask regional questions, and just meet folks who are near you.
Take care and happy gardening!
