Hilltb - Phenomenal results! Beautiful plants, boxes, and planter! You're definitely in for some great harvests. I like the drip system you put in as well. It doesn't look like it takes up too much space. I'm definitely copying that picture for future reference.

Mel's Mix in my ground soil??
I have over bought my Mel's Mix ingredients. Is it ok to put it in my flowerbeds which are a bit compacted?? Will it look funny? and yes I'll hav plenty left for my SFG garden.

Fill up your beds first. You may decide to use a bit more than 6" deep as it does settle. Then fill any containers you are using to augment your garden. If you still have left over mix you can either save it for a future bed or to fill a top hat for deeper growing veggies, save to top off a settled bed, or put in in the flowers. I'm sure they will love it.

I agree with Kay I thought I had extra mix but after about a week I needed 2" more in my TT box. So wait if you don't use it all up flowers do great in it.
