Zuc / Yellow Squash
What are the good cultivars for zucchini and yellow squash to train on a trellis. I am putting some beds in between my drive way and the neighbor's fence (18in or so wide) that I want to plant with zucchini, yellow squash and eggplant. The area will get fill sun through early afternoon, but will shade in late afternoon. Due to the slope, I will probably have 6 2ft x 1ft boxes...
Also, anyone try those circular tomato cages for yellow squash and zucchini and/or eggplant? I am thinking those might work better in this area as the bed is just one square wide....

I found a vining zucchini "Black Hawk" from Territorial Seed Co. Be prepared for sticker shock $6.90 for 10 seeds but, I wanted a vining zucching and it was the only variety I found.

I'm trying zucchino rampicante for the 1st time this year. It will have a very large trellis.

Re: Zuc / Yellow Squash
One of my Tatume squash is already to the top of my 6 foot trellis and I'm training it back down.
Another one I'm doing zig zag back and forth on the trellis.
(Both are the plant on the far left)
