Robins are here!!!!!
I am beside myself with excitement. There is a flock of robins in my backyard. Yes!! Spring is finally on the way. We still have three feet of snow back there and they are hopping around on the snowbanks, but they have found the little strip of grass along side the garage and are pecking in that, flying back and forth to the apple tree. Oh wow! I am so happy they are back

Re: Robins are here!!!!!
I'm glad they made it safely, I sent them up from my place a couple of weeks ago.

Doesn't it make your heart just swell? I am sooooooooooo ready for the fair weather they fly ahead of!!!
robins
And the robin sings its chorus.
Row by row and bit by bit.
I am going to cover your whole garden with it.

I know!! I just feel dizzy, I am so happy! Of course, my DH and the guys I work with say I am ALWAYS dizzy. LOL! But it feels like winter has really hung on so long this year. Robins are promise of what is to come.

Ummmmmmm............we are SFG gardeners......not ROW gardeners......
So maybe we should sing
Square by square and bit by bit.
Love the bit by bit part. That takes care of the inch thingy which is a problem for us Canucks. LOL!

Now send them MY way! I have not seen any robins yet. The word around here is that once the robins appear, we have one more big snow and then it is !

Sending robins on to you. Hope it works but that means they have to go back south and they might not like that.
