Just a tidbit of info,, We have lots of chickens, but we need some more so I checked out the normal online stores,, Ideal Poultry, McMurry etc and found that they are sold out into June for all breeds of pullets and most of the roo's WoW! so we are setting eggs under the Banty's agian, the only problem with that is you stand to get more roosters than you need, and you have to wait 28 days for them to hatch.. But a little old lady told us that the shape of a egg tells you the sex,, the longer pointed eggs are roosters and the more rounded ones are pullets, we have tried this technique twice now and got 75% pullets

I see the countdown on the northern folks posts for days left till spring , funny how it coincides with my days to harvest the GH Toms.
