SFG Drip Irrigation System - emitter spacing
Hello - I was looking for details on the SFG drip irrigation system. 3 questions:
1. What is the spacing on the drip tape emitters? 8", 12" or something else? Which of those spacing parameters is preferred for SFG?
2. Can I purchase the SFG drip irrigation system in a 12' length?
3. Can new drip tape connectors be purchased if necessary?
Thank you

1. Our spacing is actually 4". It is the most ideal that I have found for SFG. It does a better job at water distribution than the other spacings. It is not found almost anywhere else!
2. Yes. Contact us for specialty orders. We can make then almost any length(just remember to make sure you have strong pressure to carry the water that far)
3.Yes. We are working at making all parts available for replacements.
Hope that helps. By the way, for everyone who reads these, our drit kits have been a fabulous success. So far, we have had rave reviews! Again. For those who have them, if you see ways to improve them, let me know! Alan

Re: SFG Drip Irrigation System - emitter spacing
My garden is approx. 100 feet from my water faucet. The water pressure is quite high, and my garden is down hill from the water source. If I used a garden hose to carry the water over to the irrigation set-up would it still work as it should? I have 3 boxes. One is 4x8 the other two are 4x4.
I can't install another water outlet closer to the garden.
Thanks.

I don't think you will have problem with that setup. Just make sure you get a starter and two add on kits and not just 3 starter kits, that way you can connect all 3 in sync.
