Did we get a new mobile site?
I was checking my email on my iPhone this morning and the reply notification email looked different. I went to the forum and it is different too! Did we get a new mobile site?

I think it changed when they went from .com to .org. Anyone know for sure?
Re: Did we get a new mobile site?
I am unaware of any new mobile site....but it doesn't mean there isn't. They don't always tell us everything before it happens. I will see if I can find anything out.

They switched from .com to .org. If you try to go in on .com on an iPhone, you land immediately in a storefront that appears to be made for mobile.

It would appear so. Same thing happened on my Android phone...

Re: Did we get a new mobile site?
From forumotion today, one of several 'upgrades':
"3. Your forum on your Mobile phone : Now, your forums are fully optimized for browsing via mobile devices and smartphones. The principle is very simple, the forum will automatically detect the visitors who access it from a mobile device or smartphone, and it automatically displays a version optimized for this type of navigation.
Of course, the visitor does not wish to use the mobile version will be available to him the possibility to return to normal view forum.
This feature is still in beta, you will only be able to browse the forum as a guest. No posting yet."
So, it looks like they're still working on it; expect the unexpected.

Re: Did we get a new mobile site?
Thanks Boffer!
I haven't played with it much recently. Used to be, I could log into the forum as normal via my phone, just had to do a lot of pinching and zooming to maneuver. I'll have to experiment to see how it functions now.

Thanks boffer....
So between the SFG store going mobile and forumotion going mobile....things might look a little different. Keeping us on our toes!
