Hi from NC. I'm new to gardening but hopefully will have a great beginning thanks to SFGing.
Bought the seeds and will work on building 3 boxes this weekend. May add more later on this spring or summer. The weather has been awesome here for the past couple of weeks. flower

Welcome June glad you\'re here

So nice to hear from you. 3 new boxes is certainly a great start. You will find we have several members in the Carolinas.

Please feel free to ask questions when you have them. We have several members with a good bit of gardening experience and most of us are not shy about sharing with you.

If you can, take the time to review the various information accessed by clicking on the Forum Button above. You may find the answers to many of your questions there. If you still need help, just ask.

Just so you know, we absolutely I love you pictures.

Again, Welcome June

Welcome! I'm a bit north of you and I have a terrible case of garden fever already Smile We're hoping to add a few beds this year, but we're getting chickens too, so we'll see.

Hi June, welcome. I'm over on the coast and garden in both Elizabeth City and Wilmington (my son's house). My daughter lived in Clayton for a few years and managed a small garden of tomatos, pole beans, cukes and collards in her back yard.

New to gardening! Empty Welcome

Welcome to the forum, June. This is a great place for beginning gardeners (and experienced ones, too) to ask questions.

What size are your boxes, and what do you plan to grow?

Remember that we love to see photos.

New to gardening! Empty Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Thanks Furbalsmom, miinva, walshevak , and ander217 for the welcome.
Walshevak, we're pretty close to Clayton. Ander217, we're doing the 4X4 boxes and I'm planting salad veggies (tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, green onions, bell peppers, and spinach) as well as zucchini, snow peas, different herbs and a few flowers. I couldn't figure out how to post an avatar last night. I will try again later. Now I'm off to planting my seeds (inside) and building the boxes! Have a great weekend everyone.
