Well I was hopeful...
We had a beautiful weekend, 45-50 degrees, the snow has all been melted a couple weeks.
And tonight as the Packers and the Steelers played on....the snow began to fall. A few inches now and still coming down. It was so nice to see a little peek of spring poke it's head out.... Guess I just have to wait a little longer.

Ahhhh, I hear you about the snow. It had all melted off the shed, garage and house roof. But last night Environment Canada issued another heavy snowfall warning. This morning about 8 am it started.........ever so lightly at first and then gradually increasing to almost whiteout conditions. And it is still coming down. Relentlessly. Silently. I think that silly groundhog was wrong.
In my head I know we need the snow pack up in the mountains so the rivers won't dry up and so we won't have a forest fire problem come summer but I am anxiously awaiting spring too.

Re: Well I was hopeful...
Sorry to hear you both are having snow. That's never fun when you hope to see the ground for longer than a few. I miss the Christmas snow, but other than that I don't miss it at all. Though this year on Christmas is did snow in the Charlotte area in NC, we got half an inch maybe, but the hubby was so happy, he had never in his life had a white Christmas.
I hope we get a somewhat wet spring/summer this year. We've been in drought conditions for the past 4 or 5 years now, and the first two were so bad that they were actually handing out citations to people who weren't following the drought laws. But, we became so good at not using water that they actually raised the water rates.
