Bulbs in the SFG....
...not what you think.
I had some dahlia and iris bulbs last year. I planted the dahlias and they came up wonderfully until the horn worm ate them. Then the irises I got a little later in the year. I planted them in my SFG since it was now empty until I could relocate them for winter... well being me....
They are both still in the SFG boxes which will soon need to be readied for the springtime planting .
What do I do with the bulbs? Do I dig them up and replant them elsewhere? Dig up and store? Let shoots come up and then replant? What's their best chance for survival... I'm not very knowledgeable about bulbs, though my crocuses did manage to bloom last spring in spite of me
