NOW I HAVE TWO WFET'S!
Yesterday I met Acara at a local restaurant parking lot. He had mentioned he would be happy to share some of his WFET babies. Since I live only a few
miles away I was happy to make the connection.
First of all it was so nice to meet another SFG forum member. I feel like we are all family. Then the box he brought me was a big surprise. In the box were two beautiful WFET babies, nice and strong and staked in their peat pots and ready to be planted. Then he put many things from his garden....peppers, a beautiful cuke, a large bag of the most beautiful green beans, rosemary, basil. dill and the oregano that had the most wonderful aroma.
Thank you Acara and I promise to take great care of these babies.

Re: NOW I HAVE TWO WFET'S!
Glad you liked them.
I don't know how I missed that they were budding/blooming too .... just too many WFET's to keep track of I guess.
There was a bag of fresh mint in there too ...but evidently it jumped outta the box & I found it in the cab when I got home.
Hope you weren't craving mojitos or anything
Good to meet u & enjoy the WFET's

Re: NOW I HAVE TWO WFET'S!
Did your babies make it through the freeze okay?
I lost everything in the WFET wall (1 x 8 SFG), but my original two are doing well in their pots (brought them inside for the week when the freeze was here).
My dad put his WFET in the ground, figuring he was too far South to worry about freezes this early. He got a 30-ish degree night last week in Sebring & may have burned/killed his.
I think it's safe to say that 40-degrees, even short-term, is absolute bottom for these types of tomatoes.
So if you need another, just give a shout .... I'll probably be cutting/planting WFET suckers for him anyways & it's no problem to do another if you need it.
