Re: first sugar snap pea
I am so jealous. A few weeks ago I finally pulled my old sugar snaps which had stopped producing, and had new sugar snaps up to 15 - 18 inches and blooming, when the deer accessed my garden (I had left the gate open)
The kids will love the sugar snaps, let them eat peas straight from the garden, no dinner plate needed,

Re: first sugar snap pea
My daughter and I actually found 5, and ate them all right there in the garden :-)
I have learned a lot with my first fall garden. I think there is a lessons learned thread someplace. I need to find it and post how I will do things differently next time around.

I'm also jealous. Our sugar snap peas have been long harvested and eaten and our raised beds put bed for the winter.

Re: first sugar snap pea
I think sugar snaps are the best raw in-the-garden-eating veggie there is. I can't wait until mine are in. Very exciting.
