Carrots taste like 'L' Empty Carrots taste like 'L'

I've never forgotten Mel's joke in his book about growing carrots in a 4 inch box, and they reached bottom and made a right turn and kept growing. He told the grade school audience that they tasted like 'L' !

These came out of a six inch box are the closest I've come to growing 'L' s. I wish I could have left them in longer.
