We just bought our first house in June & so we're finally able to SFG (I have gardened in the past, but it has been years since I've had space to do much). We just have one square for this summer, as the growing season was well under way by the time we moved into the house. I wasn't even able to till--I just did a pseudo-lasagna garden in an attempt to get plants in the ground. So, being behind in planting, it hasn't produced much yet (well, it has, but the squirrels keep taking care of what is producing). But I'm still enjoying it.

Welcome Waga:

My wife is from Fergus Falls and has a sister and brother in Minneapolis so we know the area. We live and garden in Wake, Virginia near the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeak Bay.

On the forum you will find a mix of folks. Some have never put a seed in the ground before finding out about SFG and some have gardened all of their lives in one form or another before finding the very best way to garden ever invented this side of the Garden of Eden. So welocome to our growing connor of the gardening world and if you have any questions please ask as we love to garden and help others at the same time.

God Bless, Ward and Mary.
