So, I have cleared the area for my garden, put down 2x4 plywood boards for the bottom of my beds. Just waiting on my border boxes to come from the SFG website.
Still need to get some deer netting, stakes and some seeds.

I wanted to start small, plus this was the only spot that gets a full 6hrs of sun. If things work out, I might have one of the big oaks that blocks the sun to the bigger area taken down. I have tried vegetable gardening in 2 other spots with little luck for various reasons - poor soil, lack of sun, deer, etc.
