could have gone golfing.....instead....
My dad woke me up this morning, asked me if I wanted to go golfing with him,I thought I just wanted to sleep late so I told him no,he told me if I stayed home I would need to do some work my mom wanted done in the SFGs (how much work could that be) so I said ok,what seemed like only seconds later my I hear my mom saying...get up...GET UP...she has me go out and prune, pull up old vines and plants,it's a mess out there!
I have to rake it all up,add new compost and get ready to plant for the fall crop.....
I should have gone golfing!
If I ever get it all cleaned up I'll post a picture.

Re: could have gone golfing.....instead....
Are you sure it's OK that you're posting these kinds of pictures of your "showcase" gardens!
Re: could have gone golfing.....instead....
That'll learn ya! LOL.
I am thinking the same thing. I may have to do some actual WORK in the garden today. Geeesh!

Re: could have gone golfing.....instead....
Welcome to farming, Josh. Even with SFG, sometimes it really is WORK!
I just spent the better part of two hours shucking beans... and I still don't have enough to make a big pot of baked beans. *sulking noises*
I just discovered that my limas have cross-connected to the tomato trellis. This means that working around in there has just become much more difficult. I may have to become a contortionist again.

Re: could have gone golfing.....instead....
you did a wonderful job, as always, Josh! Thanks for posting the 'before' pictures so that I don't have to feel so guilty about how my garden looks!
