That is so cool! They kind of look like some kind of weird mutant jelly fish. There was an article I read this week about the new sea creatures found in the depths around the Great Barrier Reef and it reminded me of them -- ha!
And I didn't know that watermelon seeds formed in a whirl like that!

I'm such a geek. I think it would be a hoot to have access to a slice-MRI like that....I'd be running back and forth scanning stuff all day long.
