Using the emoticons in your posts
Another question while I'm at it...
How does one use the emoticons you see over on the right when you Post a New Topic? I thought we could just "drag and drop" them in a post, but when I do that I get the link spelled out as well.

Re: Using the emoticons in your posts
Just click them and they should go in. It won't be their actual picture but what you would type to put them there manually.
Re: Using the emoticons in your posts
I always click on the emoticon; I haven't tried drag and drop.
What you see in your post text box (whether the image or the code for the image) is determined by the setting of the a/A button in the tool bar of the post edit box. By default, it is set to WYSIWYG, and the button is pinkish. Click it to see codes in your edit box, and the button is bluish/grayish.

Re: Using the emoticons in your posts
One thing I've noticed is that if you are NOT in WYSIWYG mode, any tag or emoticon will go to the very end of your message (unless you have a specific word/phrase selected to apply bold to, for example). It would be much handier for it to show up where your blinking '|' cursor is.
Re: Using the emoticons in your posts
That is a frequent question on the support forum. It can't be changed by mere mortals. :|
And that's that! Thread is closed.
