How is your weather? Have you been able to do anything with your garden?

Here is what we picked for dinner on Sunday..
Boffer, any luck yet? Pictur10

...a year ago Sunday, that is! Wink

We have finally been getting some sun, and plants are starting to pop. But most of the squash and cuke plants are smaller than the fruit in the picture. We only have a few small green toms, the carrots are like pencils, and I don't think we'll have much harvest to put up this year except for taters and beets.

I know there are good years and bad years, but it's still hard to follow a really good year, isn't it?! I have my fingers crossed that all first year gardeners get enough decent weather so they may taste a little gardening success.

Hopefully you will be surprised & get more harvest than you expect. I'm glad you finally got some sun.

Boffer...I wish you better weather now with less rain.
Last year we were deluged with rain and I didn't fare too well for my very 1st year but better than those with flat row gardens.
Between the rain and the blight on the tomatoes, it wasn't very successful, but at least we were able to taste some of the goodness of our own garden.
This year, I think if we get too much rain, I'll be covering my beds with plastic sheets to keep off the rain as much as possible. I never thought of that last year.
Good luck Boffer.
