If anyone can help me identify these little bugs I would appreciate it. They are eating all my flowers. They started on the roses and now the green beans. I usually have a ton of pole beans by now but this year only about 5 until I realized these were eating the flowers. When I try to grab them they jump so I am not sure if they are hard or soft but they all have that white tuft of ?hair/web/idk on their end.

It looks like an armor-plated terror, but it's just an herbivorous 1-mm-long Acanaloniid Planthopper nymph. When it gets older, the white stuff covers it like a thin cotton glove.

I am thinking I may have to break down and get something stronger than the DE

I am glad you were able to find it! I have been waging my own war with bugs! I know how frustrating it can be.
