Hi, yes I'm new too! Empty anything growing ?

Post  Garden Angel 7/1/2010, 10:58 am

Yes I do , We have 10 raised boxes but not using all yet. The cucumbers and early girls are doing nicely , so are pole beans, zuch and summer squash, just got cantalope started 2 weeks ago. The soil here is mostly dg so when we got all the rain this time we saw it as our window of opportunity to get started ! so it was a lot of prep work to get the area cleared etc. so I'm afraid I got a late start but most everything was in by the last week of April. Hoping to get more going later but the heat is here now!
