Actually I noticed this a week or so ago too. Had trouble with the image upload button. I can't remember exactly but I think what I encountered was that I uploaded the image fine but then clicking on the button again wouldn't make the image upload window go away so I couldn't get back to my post. (And I'm not amateur - I made the video on how to do it!) Figured it was forumotion issues again and didn't worry about it too much.
Worked fine for me just now (I use Chrome).
