What is this bug?
Hello there! new to the forum and just planted my first ever garden. I discovered this bug on my bell pepper plants this morning. They seemed to have taken up residence on the new growth and it's covered in the bugs and larva. It doesn't seem to match any of the bugs listed as problematic in the new square foot gardening book. Does anyone know what it is and how I can get rid of them?

Re: What is this bug?
I have these same bugs on my pepper plants so I will be curious to know what they are also...
Re: What is this bug?
Can't be positive without seeing the bug up and close, but being that I also see aphids on the leaf, my guess it's one of the good guys...known as an aphid wasp. Here's a little info I found, but I'm sure if you do a Google search, you'll find lots more.

Great site, really helpful. Feeling a bit bad now because I just realized I tossed a lacewing larve off my broccoli.
Re: What is this bug?
Patti - thanks so much! That's exactly what they are! I didn't even think about the fact that some bugs might actually be helpful to the plants! Guess I just assumed bug=bad. Any advice on the aphids?
