Priceless
The cost of setting up 5 SFG boxes from scratch: it's a bit of an investment
Running out the back door at the beginning of dusk to pick your dinner: priceless
Had a wonderful borscht from the garden. Being a peasant soup, almost anything goes but it must have beets and dill. In mine I included carrot, dill, beets, beet greens, green bean, potato and onion. It was sooooooo good.
The mint in the picture is for my iced tea after dinner.

Re: Priceless
Your soup looks WONDERFUL! Yummy!
I agree with you... there is nothing better then running out to the garden to find dinner. Tonight we had a simple dinner of burgers and picked our first leaf lettuce because we were out. Yesterday, we had a terrific stir fry from the assorted harvest. I LOVE it and the kids eat it. Priceless!

Re: Priceless
wow that's a good looking dinner. I picked a snow pea pod and had a snack while watering this evening. Sure is fun to see the investment starting to pay off.
