Hello!

I'm Mike and I garden in Zone 8a. Since the beginning of the lockdowns for COVID in 2020, I have been gardening in SIP 5 gallon buckets and 3, 5, 7 and 10 gallon grow bags. I'm now changing my gardening style to SFG. I look forward to learning more about how SFG works, although I am familiar with it, and am excited to see how more productive my gardens can be.

Mike, Welcome to the Forum from California. The best start is to read either the 2nd or 3rd Edition of ALLNEW Square Foot Gardening by Mel Batholomew, creator and founder. I started March 2013 with the 2nd Edition and the rest is history. Very Happy

Appreciate the welcome! I have the 2nd edition in paperback and 3rd in Kindle. I have done SFG before, but didn't fully understand. I feel I learned a lot with my bags and buckets and now am ready to go forward
