While waiting for the last frost.... a non-SFG question
Hi all
Garden all ready, seedling growing, so it is wait time.
Hope someone can give me non SFG advice. Just so I can stay busy waiting for mid-May.
I have lots of used potting soil. I have researched on how to refresh and use again. But.... I have lots of low spots and bare spots on my lawn. Does anyone know what I can add to the old soil so that I can use in areas I wish to reseed on my lawn.
I know not SFG, but hoping for some advice.

Good question, I am not the right person to deal with this…OG? Maybe sanderson, or dstack, Yardslave?

My take. The best thing to level the lawn area is something that will not break down. Good top soil. Any kind of high-organic material will sink, which is why we recommend bottom fillers in tall beds of either top soil or sand. For lawns, sand is not appropriate. I hope this helps.
