February: What to plant in Southern California and Inland Valleys
For those who start seeds indoors, it's time to get them started.
Peppers take a little longer to germinate, so those should be the first seeds to get started. Some herbs also take a little longer. A heating mat can really help speed up with germinating the peppers.

To find your county's vegetable planting guide, in California, Google/Bing "ucanr vegetable planting guide." Some counties are grouped together. University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources.
