Hi all,
Total newbie to SFG here and pretty much new to vege gardening too. I've grown lettuces in troughs on my patio for years (from my own saved seeds) but that's about it. Also had a strawberry in a big pot last summer which produced nearly a kilo of fruit! Now I want to get into SFG. I have the All New SFG book, read it years ago and have been refreshing on it recently. Will be going slowly, just dipping my toe in the water this summer and will extend next year. The aim for this summer is more strawberry plants, and some bush beans and short tomato plants.
I really appreciate this forum, have been lurking on it for a couple of weeks and already learned so much! Sorry but I don't have any photos to share yet.

Re: Kiwi from Auckland, New Zealand
Hi Kiwi, I have moved this thread into the New Zealand subforum. I also split off the discussions about compost and created a new thread. I don't want it to get lost in the general compost threads, of which there are more than 450!!

Thank you sanderson, I appreciate the heads-up. I got a bit lost this morning trying to find my posts in the compost thread but got there via my profile
