Worm castings tea?

Worm castings tea?
Anyone made the worm castings tea. Been think about doing this and adding to my new SFG to help give the microbes and other organisms a little help getting started.
This is a new SFG and just completed 1/30/22. Still about 6-7 weeks before our last average frost date in northwest Louisiana so just wanted to make sure the soil is ready for all my spring plantings.

Re: Worm castings tea?
Scottie, compost tea or worm castings tea is very useful as a foliar spray on the plants, and as a soil soak to increase microbial life in the soil. During the summer months I apply compost tea to the beds monthly, and it has virtually eliminated problems such as powdery mildew.
For your new beds you would probably get the desired outcome by applying worm castings directly to the beds and then working into the top 3 or 4 inches. The microbial life in the worm castings will quickly go to work on the compost to start releasing plant-available nutrients.
