Best soil for passion fruit?
I'm going to transplant a few passion fruit trees/vines (edulis) into the soil within the next few weeks. The plants are about 5ft tool now, will probably be around 6ft by then (they're in a growhouse right now).
What is the best possible soil that I can prepare for them?
I was thinking of digging out 3'x3'x3' holes out in the ground and put a fertile mix in it.
I have Mel's Mix readily available peat + course vermiculite + 20% each of lobster, worm castings, cotton burr, coop poop & mushroom. Would that work well for a fruit tree? Anything else I can/should provide for it?

So feed it with fertilizer instead of compost? Is that a general guidance for fruit trees, or just passion fruit?
Who is this person (Steve Albert). ? There is no "about" on him and the images he used for the site are stock photos from Shutterstock & Dreamstimes. i.e. How do we know he has actually even grown a Passion Fruit?
