Storm - How are you doing?
How is everyone in the East doing after the tornado and storms? I see that some areas really suffered.

Re: Storm - How are you doing?
The major storms went south of us here in Ohio, and we just had thunderstorms and winds.

A bit rainy and windy here but otherwise OK. There's a flood watch out, but I think it's mostly hit South of us.

We're good. (Thanks, TD!) Some of the back roof shingles lifted a bit, but they seem to be okay. But, man, what wind & rain! Solid sheet for about 15 minutes.
Northwest of us in Chattanooga & the surrounding area where we have a lot of friends got hit badly. One buddy saw the funnel go over his house....

Re: Storm - How are you doing?
We had heavy rain and a stiff wind, but they had predicted 65 mph winds with possible gusts to 70, and here we didn't get close to that although many people did lose power, luckily not me though. And no trees came down this time, so that's always good!!! My heart goes out to those who were hard hit. With everything else going on, they really didn't need more.

Re: Storm - How are you doing?
One tornado went just north of us into East Point, College Park, Hapeville and a second tornado was just south of us in Upson County. We had wind but not too bad, no trees down but a lot of debris. Bent over the tops of the potato plants but hopefully they will straighten out. Rain was only 1/2 inch so we were lucky. Sirens were going off. At about 2 am I was dressed with a cell phone in one hand and a flashlight in the other hand. Pockets were stuffed with the bare essentials.
