De Jours 18 Radish
I got the 18 day radish from Baker Creek. It's been 20 days since transplant (I don't count from planting -- too many variables). I think I could harvest one of the ten I planted:
Maybe later.

Huh? How did I miss those. I thought I owned one of everything in their catalog.markqz wrote:I got the 18 day radish from Baker Creek. It's been 20 days since transplant (I don't count from planting -- too many variables). I think I could harvest one of the ten I planted:

Re: De Jours 18 Radish
Just got their catalog. I'm usually a web kind of guy and seed catalogs go right to the recycle bin. But this one is beautiful. There's about 130 pages with an average of 5 items per page, so you would have had to plant 650 things to plant them all. Of course, that's including flowers.countrynaturals wrote:Huh? Stay tuned.

I'm glad it's working out for you! They seem to have good germination rates. There's 225 seeds in the packet. So in theory you could raise 16 a week for the next 14 weeks

Since they produce inside, too, I plan on growing a continuous supply for the rest of my natural life!markqz wrote:countrynaturals wrote:

Re: De Jours 18 Radish
You're right! How strange. They're not in the catalog, though they are online. They do have another variety in the catalog, SAXA 2 (boy the marketeers took the day off for that one) which also claims mature in 18 days.sanderson wrote:I can't find them in the 2020 Baker Creek catalog.

Mark, I found them in the catalog at the link I posted above. Here is the link I found them at: De 18 Jours Radish

I bought the seeds. In the process of amending the beds with compost and they will be the first thing I sow, along with beans.
