PittMoss?
Anyone have experience with PittMoss? It is recycled paper turned into a soil amendment to replace Coconut Coir, Peat Moss, or Perlite, but it is twice as expensive. Curious if there is any benefit to it over Coir or Peat, other than the environmental use of recycled paper?

Re: PittMoss?
Thanks, Sanderson! I didn't find that when I did a search, probably because I was searching for PittMoss as one word instead of two. Unfortunate that there was never an update to the thread, whether it worked or not. What piqued my interest in it was a notice that they had 20% off with free shipping, but it still seems expensive for recycled paper.

Re: PittMoss?
I contacted Jimmy Cee and he said he only used it that one season.
"Pitt Moss...yes, only used it that one season and it worked every bit as well as peat moss. My beds, 5 gallon containers and even porch pots did nicely. In pots as well as five gal. containers watering must be still frequent... "
We miss Jimmy, but he has a new life now. He still is a staunch supporter of Mel's SFG.
