2018 Seeds already available at Ace Hardware
DH took me to dinner last night. :-) When we were finished, he said he needed to get some keys made at Ace. So I'm wandering around & go back to the key area. He asked if I saw anything interesting. When I told him that I had been looking to see if they had any seeds on clearance and that I didn't find ANY seeds, an employee piped up saying they had some & would show me where they were.
DH said, of course, that he really didn't need to do that, lol! And the employee replied that he wouldn't be a very good employee if he didn't. Well, we can't have that...
Turns out that they're trying Botanical Interest's seeds. And they're dated for 2018! They had just got them in a couple of days ago.
Picked up a couple of types of lettuce - Tom Thumb butterhead & Little Gem Romaine. Woo-hoo!

That's great information to know. Were the seeds mainly of the winter garden variety or do you recall if they had any heirloom tomato seeds? If so, did you happen to notice what varieties. I don't mind ordering seeds online, but I prefer to be able to put my hands on things before I buy them. It would be great to go ahead and pick up seeds for the spring.AtlantaMarie wrote:DH took me to dinner last night. :-) When we were finished, he said he needed to get some keys made at Ace. Lettuce, carrots, beets, echinacea. That's all I really remember. Don't recall seeing tomatoes.... It was a pretty small display. Maybe 3 dozen types of seeds.
