I have seedlings!
Yay! My pink eyed peas have popped through the ground and so have the radishes. I was so happy to see that this morning. I was certain that I was watering dirt fruitlessly.

Re: I have seedlings!
I'm glad to see someone gets as excited as I do LOL Today while weeding (also weeded a radish until I remembered I planted around the brussels) I came across radishes, beets, a tons of lettuce and spinach and my new crop of sugar snap peas. I so can't wait til I get to harvest!!

Re: I have seedlings!
This is my first attempt at growing anything. Considering that I am not very good at keeping plants alive that people have given me in the past, any sign of life is exciting. I was just out there looking some more and saw that chard has broken through as well!

I Have Seedlings!
I am also very excited seeing the seedlings come through the soil.
I am a first time SFG gardener also.
Bush beans coming thru along with cucumber, zucchini, basil, pumpkin (which I have planted along the side of my house - last year's row garden). I did "cheat" and bought 2 tomato plants (husband only likes the Rutgers Tom & I like any kind, so I planted cherry tom); and 1 red pepper plant.
We only did one 4 x 4 box since a beginner. Next yr plan to make another box if all goes well.
Always say hello to our plants!
