Re: Tomato Questions
How did the kraut turn out? Is that something you’ve made before. ?sanderson wrote:I also ate one of my counter- ripened tomatoes last night, along with some homemade kraut.

Re: Tomato Questions
Turned out good this time. I've made it 4 times and only one time was it inedible. I had tried using the cabbage I grew and never grew again. https://squarefoot.forumotion.com/t20146-sauerkraut-fermenting-veggies

Re: Tomato Questions
Anyone know what might be wrong with this Seedling? The others around it and even in the same six pack are doing well.

Re: Tomato Questions
Could it be "damping off"? Are they being watered from the top or the bottom (best)? I would move those plants far away from the good ones because damping off will spread.

Re: Tomato Questions
I do not know what it is, but I would discard that plant and the one next to it closer to us. Get rid of the soil they are planted in as well. Do not put in the compost or garden.
You live where there are lots of plagues for tomatoes. It is best to lose a couple seedlings now than later. Be ruthless.
If you suspect damping off or some similar fungal problem, sprinkle cinnamon on the soil surface of all the remaining plants.
Good luck

Re: Tomato Questions
Brian, it's hard to see in a photo but it looks to me like several of them have something causing leaf curling and / or wilting. I would toss any pony pack with sick plants and start over. Clean containers, new mix.
I have suffered from tomato viruses for 2 different summers.
