Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?

Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
I received this question on my FB page. Can anyone help?
Susan asks: "Would anyone happen to have a spreadsheet for adding harvested vegetable amounts by weight? Last year I did it all on a piece of paper. Each individual fruit and vegetable in ounces and pounds and then added up the total. It seems like there should be a spreadsheet circulating somewhere that would be much easier!"
Thanks everyone!

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
Maybe one of the members can make an Excel spread sheet with pounds and ounces that add up/carry over correctly. Hint I tried to keep track in the notebook/journal but failed to keep it up as the season progressed.
Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
Yeah, I just did one of the total daily harvest weight so it was a lot simpler than this where she wants it by crop.

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
I listed the crops as they came into season, but since they were not in alphabetical order, it made it hard. Then I picked mixed tomatoes which made it even harder to separate them into varieties once I got indoors .

I've just run across this one that might help: HARVEST WEIGHTS

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
Unless someone else comes along, tell me how you want it to look, everything that you want it to do, etc and I can do it up. I enjoy doing that sorta thing.sanderson wrote:Maybe one of the members can make an Excel spread sheet with pounds and ounces that add up/carry over correctly. Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
I may be a good gardener but I'm an awful spreadsheet person! @p14shooter if you could make one I think that would be wonderful!
How about columns for different vegetables and rows for weights that add them up automatically? Maybe a grand total cell? I can't figure out how to do the ounces and pounds part.

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
I have a start for anyone to comment on. I can not see how to insert a file though. Maybe I can not. How do I get it so all can see without a PM to everyone.

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
I've got that built into my seed spreadsheet. I'll be more than happy to send it to whoever wants it. It's quite detailed...

p14shooter, I'm no help in that department, sorry. I'd love to see what you have though.

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
I am a believer of not reinventing the wheel sorta speak. Keamom, I really just put a template in with a simple addition function with a list that could be chosen from in pounds or ounces. It would be far from finished, but you could look at it if you want. PM me your email if you want it. Click on my name and you should see a function to message anyone.

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
That's strange.... I see it at the top of my profile.... But it's:
marieebain@hotmail.com
I'll be more than happy to send it to whomever wants it. Again, it's quite detailed, but easy to make it "your own" by inserting your seed info.

Re: Harvest Weight Spreadsheet?
Thanks, Marie. There is a lot of excellent info on the spread sheet. For just tallying the harvest, probably a simpler spread sheet.
