What's up with these onions?
These onions were a little green plant in Oct. when planted. I planted them about 3in. apart. They usually make 1 bulb per plant. Well, there are numerous bulbs for each plant of this group. The others are only making 1 bulb per plant. I bought them back in Oct. and they were in a little bunch with a rubber band around the group. I thought they were all the same onion? Also, they are blooming.

Shallots and a multiplying onion. You lucky gardener!

Is the shallot the 1 that sort of lays out from the center?
and the multiplier onion in a sm pile?
I had shallots when I first started SFG. I had got grocery shallots and they did not sprout. This yr the grocery had pink ones, I bought 1 bag of 2 and washed them well, and rooted them in the house, so I know they will grow.
Any hints, etc, as to what do I do with the multiplier onions. I know I will re-plant them but do I wait and dry them first, or re-plant soon?
