nasturtiums going for the sky.
I seeded these nasturtiums and forgot them.
Do you think I should ditch them or would they still be ok to plant in a hanging basket.

Re: nasturtiums going for the sky.
I would personally plant them in a hanging basket and just see how they do, but I hate to waste plants (even leggy ones!). Let us know how they do
Re: nasturtiums going for the sky.
I'd put those in a hanging basket and also sow some fresh seeds in the basket as well. If these don't take, the seeds will send up babies eventually.

Re: nasturtiums going for the sky.
That reminds me to check out the direct sow nasturtiums to see if they are poking up yet. I had a glorious display last year and they lasted ages and ages. The only trouble was that they were in the wrong position and one could only see them if visiting them. Hidden by shrubs etc.
Re: nasturtiums going for the sky.
They are ideal for hanging baskets at that length and also for putting along low walls so they can cascade down over the edge .jimmy cee wrote:I seeded these nasturtiums and forgot them.

You can use good dark green leaves as a slightly peppery leaf in your salads

Jimmy Cee,
I started Nasturiums from seed also indoors and they look exactly like yours.
They should fill in once planted outside.
I usually direct sow outdoors.
