I have Mel's mix in my garden from last year.  Do I put another layer of the mixture in or just compost or what?

Add more 5 blend or homemade compost, stir it into your existing MM, and plant.

Hi, Gary, welcome to the Forum!  glad you\'re here  Are you using the Square Foot Gardening method? Do you have a copy of the book All New Square Foot Gardening? When replanting, always add new 5-way or home made compost to the square, bringing it back up to the original level (usually 6").
