First Harvest from Seeds Planted
After a very late start, I finally got my kitchen garden TT up and did some transplants and started some seeds on 5 May. Today I harvested a globe white radish that had been companion planted with my Celebrity tomato. I just couldn't wait when I saw the rounded ball at the bottom of the stems.
It had good taste with only a mild peppery effect.
I also sampled the leaves. They tasted very good and might be a great addition to a garden salad. I've never knowingly eaten radish leaves as a salad. Is there any reason NOT to do so?
TIA

Good and good for you. Adds a zip to a salad.
