I'm obviously a bit mentally disturbed     I have some answers to add

All of North America's land marks as the gap between Europe & it increases an inch or two each year. The Eurasian land mass is static apparently .

Never heard of chives , ever lasting onions , perennial garlics , Chou d' Au Benton ( a form of perennial kale ) & cross cut stalk cabbages that can grow new veg for a couples of years so long as you don't cull the whole plant ?

 Rhubarb often dies if you harvest it too hard and leave less than four leaves & stalks on it .

Dwyle as in Dwyle flonking .
A revival of an olde tyme art where the person with the Dwyle ( a square yard of linen cloth soaked in stale beer )  on a broom stick , flonks ( flings it off the broom stick )   at an opponent three or so  brooms sticks away . A flonk is scored if it hits to opponent and wraps around their face/head .

I think you're on to something, RH!  



Chatting with plantoid over the past few years has been quite a learning experience!  

You left out the best rules Plantoid!  

1.  If the dwyle misses someone completely, the flonker has to down an ale-filled chamber pot (gazunder, as in goes-under the bed) before the dwyle is passed completely around the circle of girters while they chant "pot, pot, pot!"

2.  Points are awarded as follows:

+3: a "wanton" - a direct hit on a girter's head
+2: a "morther" or "marther" - a body hit
+1: a "ripple" or "ripper" - a leg hit
-1 per sober person at the end of the game

I'm kinda glad that the colonists left that sport behind!   

(Or maybe college frat houses do the same thing by another name!)

Sometimes for unknown reasons I'll read a thread from the bottom of the page and work my way  up.  This page really scrambled my head for a bit!
