any unique & fun flower seeds or bulbs these are for planting at a cemetary plot

my daughter is 14 with aspergers syndrome and loves trying the fun unique seeds in her garden. I just help her with it she's the true gardner and loves it. Last year was the first for sfg for us.

We did chocolate cherry tomotos, purple carrots and graffiti cauliflower last year.

thank you both very very much.

Around the square foot boxes we are redoing the yucky ground and hand making butterfly stepping stones but don't want the dirt showing through. We are going to do ground cover under them.

I bought purple and white so far, but fell in love with this beautiful red but the price for one plant was $15.

Does anyone know of ground cover in a seed only 4" or so tall, nice petite flowers in bright red or orange? I would also like to find a pink.

Last question where can you buy a true black rose plant, my daughter really wants one and I thought it would be a nice end of year gift.

The name of the ground cover I saw was red creeping phlox and the garden man told me about magic carpet thyme but said it was only in white.

I am growing romanesco broccoli for the first time. It is a very interesting-looking veggie...

AFL fan- I am growing romanesco broccoli also. My research says that the success rate in the spring is not high. They are ideally grown in the fall, because if one gets a stretch of hot weather they really don't like it. I am not trying to rain on your parade - I want to encourage you to try again at the end of the season if you don't succeed this time around.

Hi Martha-

Yes, I have read that as well. I only have two plants going right now, but will certainly do more in the Fall. As of now, both plants have small heads growing, so I have my fingers crossed. We'll see...
